Bestiedas Collection began as a quiet dream that I held close for years. On January 18, 2021, I came up with the name “Bestida,” meaning “dress” in Filipino, as a reflection of my culture and vision. For years, it remained just an idea, but I kept the dream alive by sharing it with close relatives. In May 2024, the idea evolved into Bestiedas Collection—honoring my roots with “Bestida” while adding “Bestie” to capture the feeling of friendship and confidence I want every customer to experience. “Collection” represents the growing, ever-evolving nature of the brand, offering pieces that reflect my personal journey, values, and culture. Born from my own struggles to find inclusive, timeless fashion, Bestiedas Collection is more than just clothing—it’s a space for anyone who wants to feel comfortable, confident, and effortlessly themselves. Bestiedas Collection was created from the quiet dreams I carried in my heart for years.
I still remember back in January 18, 2021, sitting down and trying to piece everything together—what should I name this brand? What logo would reflect my vision? That’s when I came up with the name “Bestida,” which in Filipino means dress. It felt simple, yet meaningful—rooted in my culture and what I wanted this brand to stand for.
For years, that name, and the dream behind it, stayed quietly in my heart it remained just an idea. I held onto it, every year, I would bring it up to my close relatives, constantly manifesting and keeping the dream alive.
And in May 2024, that moment finally arrived.
Bestida naturally evolved into Bestiedas Collection. I kept the heart of the original name—“Bestida,” to honor my roots—but added a new touch: “Bestie,” a nod to the slang for best friend. I wanted the name to capture the feeling I hope every customer experiences when they visit my store—like being with someone who truly understands you, who brings out your confidence, and reminds you that you’re beautiful exactly as you are.
And then there’s “Collection”—because this brand is not just one idea, one style, or one moment. It’s a growing space filled with everything I dream of offering. Every design, every piece, is a reflection of what I believe in, and what I’m still discovering. This small online boutique is my canvas, and Bestiedas Collection is where all those dreams come to life.
This brand is deeply personal. It was built from my experiences, my culture, my hopes, and the longing to create something inclusive and meaningful. I’ve always struggled to find fashion that not only fit every body but also reflected a simple, classic style that never fades. I created this space so you wouldn’t have to struggle the way I did.
Bestiedas Collection is more than just clothing—it’s a reflection of my values and the things I care about. It’s made for anyone who wants to feel comfortable, confident, and effortlessly themselves.
